A scholarship can open access to postgraduate study, but identifying the right opportunity and preparing a clear application can be challenging. GIPSED offers guidance to graduates seeking scholarships for postgraduate studies abroad.
Practical guidance through the application process
Support includes helping applicants identify relevant scholarship opportunities, reviewing applications and reviewing personal statements. Mentorship helps candidates explain their experience, academic interests and future goals clearly in their own voice.
The programme draws on the founders’ experience of education and international development to support aspiring postgraduate students as they prepare their applications.
The 2023 application round
The application record documents 86 submissions in December 2023. This is a count of applications received, not a count of completed mentorship sessions or scholarships won.
As follow-up information becomes available, the programme record can document participation and confirmed scholarship outcomes separately. GIPSED’s guidance supports applicants; admission and scholarship decisions remain with the awarding institutions.
